This video is from Cash and Carter’s appearance on the Ralph Emery Show the year before they were married. Ralph Emery is a legendary country music DJ and television host.

The song “Jackson” was composed by Billy Edd Wheeler and Jerry Leiber. It was first performed by Wheeler but the version by Cash and Carter became much better known. Another notable recording of the song was done by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood.
